Wood

Our wooden flooring selection is an excellent surface choice for houses and retail units.  We offer two wood flooring product lines. The first is the high line (HL). Expertly made in Italy, this is the preference for high-end projects. The second is comfort line (CL) which is a good quality flooring offering exceptional value for money. As with all our products, both the high line and the comfort line are handcrafted and made from only the best materials.
A vital consideration for any wood floor covering is its durability and resistance to everyday pressures. We create a top-quality structural framework made from a criss-cross birchwood, the thickness of which is dependent on the plank itself. All our flooring is exceptionally strong and comes with a 20-year warranty as standard. You will often find that low-quality framework is quite common with substandard materials and frequently lends itself to structural collapse under the pressure of weight. This creates an effect similar to walking on soft ground.
Aside from wooden flooring, we also install bespoke stairways or single staircases in a sturdy and solid durmast oak, with a raised stair noosing. We also offer the option of overlaying your choice of engineered floor covering with a striking, quality birchwood.
Wooden flooring is an impeccable choice of design material, as well as being easy to clean, natural, warm and a particularly good electromagnetic insulant.  It is also one of the most sustainable flooring options due to its low carbon footprint, the ease of maintenance and the high levels of CO2 extracted from the atmosphere and stored within the material itself during its long lifetime.

Wooden floor layout patterns

A brick wall
Brick pattern

In this flooring, the most common lay down layout and the single board may have also different length. They are disposed one after the other along the long side as the junction between the head of the plank, in the flooring layout, result not aligned. The plank may be disposed parallel the wall, on the room longer diagonal or with an inclination of 45 o 30 degrees. If planks are disposed with this paving layout pattern, is more advisable to have the long side of the plank in horizontal direction from the main source of natural light (window).
Before beginning the paving, operations we suggest verifying that all the angle in the room are on square. If they are not, we suggest to starting the paving with the long side of the plank parallel to the wall with the main door as the imperfection is hided in the opposite side if possible, under the windows.
If planks are lie down with inclination generally, we begin the flooring always form the main door giving the board an inclination of 45° 30° from the wall this on the direction to the windows or along the longest diagonal of the room. This last flooring pattern hide all the out of square of the room.

Regular brick pattern

This pattern is similar to the brick type but on this type the plank has always the same format (length). Boards are always disposed along the longest side as the junction between the heads of the planks fall in the middle of the aside board. And on a line with the second following series of board.

Single herringbone

The elements are disposed on parallel line with a 90° degrees rotation between one and the other. The head of the plank joint with the flowing plank on his side. Generally, we begin from the middle of a room side, middle main door, aligning the first herringbone along a drawn line.

Unlike the previous this flooring every singular plank has its head cut with an inclination of 45° o 60° degrees from the long side. The paving operations are similar to the previous pattern. On side the flooring can be completed with a fascia.

Diagonal basket

The planks are assembled forming a square with a side long as his length nonetheless a multiple of the width. This flooring pattern can be done straight or along the diagonal but is not suitable for room with wall out of square. Along the room perimeter could be realized a fascia.

Fascia e Bindello

Fascia is a different pattern realized along the wall perimetrically the room and bindello is the separation between the fascia and the internal pattern. The pattern can be realized inside as requested.
