Magnanimously developed by Venetian craftsmen, Terrazzo is an artificial granite made from a mixture of cement dust and ground stone, before being polished onsite.
Historically, this was a method used recurrently, and we strongly recommend Terrazzo to refurbish historic buildings or to give that extra touch of prestige to any project. It is exceptionally long-lasting, lasting up-to 50 years before needing to be re-polished.
This versatile product is ideal for being paired with modern design and sits impeccably next to exposed aluminium joints or inserts. Exceptionally strong and durable, it can even be used with a variety of underfloor heating systems.
You can find flooring samples of this type of concrete when walking along Victoria Station in London (platforms 15/16), as well as in some areas of Westfield London (1st floor) and also the Marco Polo Lounge entrance in Venice Airport.
